Turn This Ship Around
When we are talking just you and I
We almost always agree
Things make sense but we ride the fence
Till the truth is hard to see
But the world gives out its warnings
I can feel a new day dawning
Still no captain to be found
We all know where we need to go
Let’s turn this ship around
We can’t keep our eyes closed
And pretend to be blind
The waters rise in sea of lies
While we make up our minds
There’s a light on off in the distance
A distress call for assistance
The tower warns of shallow ground
We all know where we need to go
Let’s turn this ship around
I’m waiting for the world to wake up (wake up)
I’m waiting for the world to wake up (wake up)
I’m waiting for the world to wake up (wake up)
And hear the warning siren sound
We all know where we need to go
I say, we all know where we need to go
I say, we all know where we need to go
I say, we all know where we need to go
Let’s turn this ship around
Bob was an integral part of my band and sound for years and his own music cuts a unique path through everything that he loves - classic jazz, nu jazz and the art of the song. Plus, tone for days. Jonah Smith

This is another great example of NYC jazz in 2011.
So, set 1 - a kind of space-y feel to the mix, with a some fairly laid back opening sections - the build up in Can't Wait for Perfect from the Prelude, first to the end of the main piece and then again to the end of the Epilogue being fantastic.
Set 2 has a very different vibe. You have to treat the two as separate. I'm sticking with my favourite from set 1 but Feedback would be the set 2 winner. Peter Jones
